In 2006 The Matthiesen Foundation started an end of summer concert sponsorship in the baroque church of SS. Trinita in Rollo di Andora.

The first concert in 2006 presented the young Russian pianist Albina Stulpinaite playing romantic nineteenth century music to huge acclaim as well as the professors of the Academia di Cervo summer music school. In 2007 Albina returned and played with Filippo Gamba, an Italian soloist and professor of music at Basle as well as the highly aclimed Quartetto di Cremona. In 2008 Albina returned on account of popular demand together with Suzy Thorn, a noted oboist, both from RAM in London. They performed alongside vocal soloists from the Scuola della Scala in Milan who performed operatic arias. A few days later this Foundation sponsored a recital of the pair at Anacapri which resulted in Suzy being offered a position by Vladimir Askenazy who was present as oboist on the European Youth Orchestra.
